OKO-2 GPR: Ground Penetrating Radar is a state-of-the-art device designed for a wide scope of applications. Its transportability, comparably small size, and capability of conducting a nondestructive high resolution scanning of the near surface section make it stand out from a range of geophysical devices. GPRs are used for geotechnical, geoecological, hydrological, hydrogeological, archeological and exploratory applications such as:

  • Search for buried small objects and treasure

The OKO-2 GPR and ab400 antenna

The OKO-2® GPR set includes: control unit, processing unit or notebook computer and an antenna unit (to be chosen depending on desired application). All antenna units are easily detachable and interchangeable. Using lower frequency antenna assembly one can increase the scanning depth; however if high resolution scanning of the near-surface section is required one is to use high frequency antenna units. Combination of antenna units of various frequencies yields best results. OKO-2® makes use of both of shielded and non- shielded antennas.
